Job Purpose/Summary

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for managing the complete end to end sales process from identifying and engaging High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) to presenting tailored investment solutions, closing transactions, and nurturing long-term client relationships. This role encompasses client acquisition, relationship management, and the strategic growth of our High-Net-Worth (HNI) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNI) client segments. The ideal candidate will focus on deepening wallet share through a consultative sales approach, crafting bespoke investment strategies, and delivering a premium client experience to a highly discerning clientele.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire HNI and UH5NI clients through strategic networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and execute a client acquisition strategy aligned with the firm’s revenue goals.
  • Attend industry events, investment forums, and networking opportunities to build relationships with target clients.
  • Represent the firm at investment forums, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Create tailored pitch books and investment proposals that reflect client-specific goals.
  • Develop tailored pitch books and investment proposals that align with client objectives.
  • Strategically manage relationships to drive repeat business, cross-sell relevant services, and enhance wallet share.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of HNI and UHNI clients, ensuring their evolving financial needs are met.
  • Build trusted relationships with potential and existing HNI clients by understanding their financial goals, investment needs, and risk appetite.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Deliver high-touch relationship management by providing proactive, personalized engagement and prompt resolution of client queries.
  • Conduct regular client engagement through portfolio reviews, performance reporting, and market updates.

Sales & Advisory

  • Promote and cross-sell the firm’s investment, trust, and structured solutions to deepen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with product and investment teams to customize offerings for clients.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory changes impacting private wealth clients.
  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle from initial contact, needs assessment, solution proposal, negotiations, closing, documentation, to client onboarding.
  • Coordinate client documentation, KYC/AML compliance, account opening, and funding.
  • Design bespoke investment strategies using a mix of traditional and alternative products (e.g., equities, fixed income, private placements, structured products, etc.).
  • Recommend and present customized investment banking products and wealth management solutions tailored to client profiles.

Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets (AUM, revenue, new client acquisition).
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records and prepare regular sales activity and pipeline reports.
  • Provide client insights and market intelligence to guide strategic decision-making
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to management.
  • Stay abreast of market developments, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform client strategy and internal decision-making.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including portfolio managers, research analysts, compliance officers, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to product innovation and client experience improvements by sharing feedback from the field.
  • Liaise with product, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure timely execution of transactions and adherence to regulatory standards.

Person Specification:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years’ private banking, wealth management, investment sales, or related roles focused on HNI/UHNI clientele.
  • In-depth understanding of investment products, capital markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant Professional qualification; CFA will be an added advantage
  • Possession of MBA or relevant MSc will be an added advantage.
