Job Purpose/summary
As a Business Development Executive you will be part of the team responsible for facilitating the development and execution of appropriate marketing and business development strategies in order to support the achievement of sustainable profitable market growth market expansion objectives.
Key Functions/Responsibilities
- Execute business models which includes capability development for continuous growth and expansion through research, analysis, and initiation of improvement solutions.
- Assists in oversee regular assessments to determine profit potential of existing markets, considering sales and expenditure statistics.
- Identify relevant industry, trade and/or market events to help build the company’s profile and support business pipeline development and advises leadership accordingly.
- Facilitate the establishment and growth of the company’s network of relevant contacts in client and prospect organizations and regulatory agencies; towards identifying opportunities and strengthening its brand image.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Liaise with Business-Unit leadership to develop and execute marketing initiatives to improve profitability, enhance market presence and the competitive performance of all company’s service offerings and products.
- Engage with management to create and execute action plans and initiatives that will help to penetrate new markets and client industry sectors.
- Locate and report lucrative market business opportunities that can be used to boost profitability for the company.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
- Analyse marketing data and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Provide strategic support to the Managing Director during business.
Minimum Requirement (Qualification and Experience)
Required
- First degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or relevant discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of business development and marketing sales function experience
- Must have progressive financial service experience
Desirable
- Industry knowledge would be an added advantage
- Excellent Microsoft skill, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
