Job Purpose/Summary

As an HR Consultant at Purple Star Consult Limited, you play a vital role in providing comprehensive HR support and consultancy services to our clients. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of human resource management, including employee relations, recruitment, training, policy development, and compliance.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

  • Actively lead and manage a variety of HR initiatives and concerns, including employee relations, resourcing, organization development, learning and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and people management, demonstrating proficiency and efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company and regulatory policies while preparing comprehensive reports on compliance matters, providing valuable support to Purple Star Consulting Limited’s Managing Partner in all related activities.
  • Oversee recruitment operations, including job posting, scheduling and conducting and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires at Purple Star Consulting Limited.
  • Ensure candidates are well-informed about employee benefits and other pertinent details.
  • Organize training and recreational programs for Purple Star Consulting Limited employees.
  • Gather and analyze data, assist in project management tasks, make recommendations to enhance project management processes, generate reports, and engage with clients to provide updates and solicit feedback.
  • Efficiently schedule interviews with candidates, verify educational qualifications, and oversee all temporary workers at Purple Star Consulting Limited.
  • Develop comprehensive job descriptions, conduct evaluations in alignment with specified criteria, provide administrative support for various projects, draft employee communications, and foster a conducive work environment.
  • Serve as an internal consultant, analyzing and proposing solutions to HR issues relevant to the assigned program or department.
  • Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures specific to Purple Star Consulting Limited.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to formulate and execute sales and marketing strategies that promote Purple Star Consulting Limited’s business interests.
  • Facilitate the successful and timely completion of HR-related projects and priorities, as assigned.
  • Prioritize delivering exceptional internal and external customer satisfaction while aligning efforts with strategic imperatives.
  • Handle complaints related to workplace issues, such as discrimination, or other forms of harassment, and assist in conducting necessary investigations.
  • Assist the Managing Partner in executing in-depth project work for clients, and when appropriate, draft comprehensive reports to inform management decisions.
  • Support the development of methodologies and procedures for data compilation and analysis for reports and special projects.
  • Plan and participate in events, including exhibitions and conferences, to drive business development and enhance the brand visibility of Purple Star Consulting Limited.
  • Produce and submit project status reports to the Managing Partner.
  • Undertake any other related duties as delegated by the Managing Partner.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or similar.
  • Proven experience as an HR consultant, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook) or related software

Desired:

    • A relevant Master’s degree
    • HR certification (ACIPM, CIPD, SHRM, aPHRi) .
