Job Purpose/summary

As a Business Development Officer, your role is pivotal in driving company growth. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Marketing Development, you will lead strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and market presence in the aviation industry. You will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building key relationships, and executing business development strategies. Our client seeks a dynamic individual with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in driving business growth to join our team and contribute to our success.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

  • Planning, developing, and overseeing new marketing initiatives and ensuring business growth strategies and plans are implemented.
  • Monitoring and Actualization of Assigned Budget.
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams.
  • Prepare Specific Proposals that address Sectors.
  • Prepare Quarterly Competitive Intelligence Report.
  • Generation of Monthly Reports
  • Maintaining current client relationships and identifying potential clients.
  • Ensure revenue generation via Receivable’s collections.
  • Conduct market research, on the current market. conditions and competitor information.
  • Maintain relationships with key individuals in the Leasing industry and have extensive and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and key collaborations and partnerships.
  • Responsible for the service and partnership collaboration business plans through an in-depth understanding of revenue streams and potentials.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of business development experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting growth targets and executing business strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Certification in business development.
  • Negotiation and deal-closing experience.
  • International market knowledge
