Job Purpose/summary

As a Head HR, you will play a critical role in managing the human resources functions within the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and local regulations.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the timely acquisition of top talent to support business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies for employee engagement, retention, and talent development.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, incentives, and rewards.
  • Oversee HR administration, including payroll processing, HRIS management, and record-keeping.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management, implementing changes and improvements as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered.
  • Represent the company in HR-related meetings, negotiations, and regulatory compliance matters.

Minimum Requirement (Qualification and Experience)

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years cumulative work experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • HR Professional certification/membership (e.g. CIPM, CIPD, SHRM etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and regulations.

  • Relavent Masters Degree
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results through effective HR practices and initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a multicultural workforce.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS platforms
