Job Purpose/Summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the company’s presence in the real estate market. This role requires a seasoned professional who is resourceful with a deep understanding of the real estate industry, exceptional networking skills, strong leadership ability, and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Key Functions/Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate markets.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet company growth objectives.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, investors, brokers, and industry professionals.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Lead negotiations and manage the sales process for high-value deals.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and develop new business leads.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on sales performance and business development activities.
- Collaborate with senior management to refine business strategies and adjust to market changes.
- Mentor and guide junior business development team members, sharing industry insights and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate or other related fields
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the real estate industry.
- Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of real estate market trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
