Role Summary
The General Manager will oversee the company’s overall operations, business growth, client relationships, and security manpower deployment across multiple client locations.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in security services, manpower outsourcing, operations management, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily business operations.
- Supervise the deployment, administration, and performance of security personnel across client sites.
- Lead operations, HR, administration, and finance functions to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure prompt resolution of service issues.
- Drive business development, contract negotiations, renewals, and client retention.
- Ensure compliance with private security regulations, labour laws, licensing requirements, and safety standards in Nigeria.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service improvement initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments, oversee incident reporting, and ensure proper investigation of security-related issues.
- Monitor budgets, operational costs, and overall business performance.
- Prepare reports and provide updates to the Managing Director/Board.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Security Management, Criminology, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in security services, operations management, manpower outsourcing, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple operational/client sites.
- Strong knowledge of private security operations and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
- Experience in client management, contract management, business development, and service delivery.
- Professional certification in security management, risk management, or operations management will be an added advantage.
