Job Purpose/Summary
As a Generalist, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training & development. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can support the organization’s people strategy while ensuring HR best practices are adhered to.
Key Functions/Responsibilities
- Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to meet future hiring needs.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and resolving workplace issues.
- Support the implementation of performance review systems, facilitate feedback sessions, and work with managers to enhance employee productivity.
- Identify training needs, coordinate learning programs, and support career development initiatives.
- Design and implement training workshops to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Assist in payroll processing, benefits administration, and salary benchmarking activities.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, maintaining updated HR documentation and records.
- Support HR metrics reporting and provide insights to improve workforce efficiency.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance company culture, improve retention, and boost morale.
- Organize team-building activities and recognition programs to create a thriving workplace.
- Maintain and update HR software, ensuring accurate employee records and reports.
- Work with management to ensure a safe and compliant work environment, conducting regular risk assessments and coordinating wellness programs.
- Assist in organizational change initiatives, ensuring employees are supported through transitions and new company policies are effectively communicated.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a consulting firm.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, PHR)
- Proficiency in HR software.
Desired
- Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HR analytics and workforce planning.
